Spain 10-Day Itinerary

A sun-drenched escape filled with tapas, secret speakeasies, and some of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen.

Day 1–3: Soaking in the Soul of Barcelona

We kicked off our trip in Barcelona, and from the moment we landed, the energy of the city just pulled us in. Between the stunning architecture, bustling street life, and food on every corner, we couldn’t get enough.

We explored the Gothic Quarter, walked La Rambla, and wandered through Gaudí’s dreamlike creations — Sagrada Família and Park Güell — each one more surreal than the last. One of the highlights was a day trip to Montserrat, a mountain range just outside the city with a mountaintop monastery that felt like something out of a fairytale.

But what really made Barcelona unforgettable were the hidden gems. One night, we visited Paradiso, a speakeasy tucked behind a pastrami shop in El Born — and it completely lived up to the hype. We also found another secret bar hidden behind the back wall of a convenience store (and I wish I remembered the name, because it felt like we’d stepped into a movie).

Barcelona had the perfect mix of rich history and modern energy — we could’ve easily stayed for a week.

Day 4–7: Mallorca’s Magic — From Mountains to Beaches

After a few vibrant city days, we flew to Mallorca for a change of pace — and it was everything we hoped for and more. We started in Sóller, a quiet and charming town surrounded by mountains. From there, we explored hidden corners of the island, including the breathtaking beach at Sa Calobra — winding roads, turquoise water, and cliffs that made it feel like a secret cove.

Later, we stayed in Santanyí, a beautiful coastal town that gave us easy access to nearby beaches like Cala Llombards, Calo des Moro, and S’Amarador. Each one was its own little paradise, with white sand, crystal water, and barely any crowds.

Mallorca surprised me with how diverse it was — mountains, beaches, villages, and a deep sense of calm that made it hard to leave.

Day 8–10: Back to Barcelona & a Taste of Wine Country

We flew back to Barcelona for our final few days and checked into a hotel near the city center. After dropping our bags, we took it easy — exploring neighborhoods we hadn’t seen before, enjoying a rooftop dinner with city views, and soaking in those last golden hours.

On our last full day, we headed to Penedès, Spain’s iconic wine region just outside the city. A wine tasting at a local vineyard was the perfect way to close out the trip — relaxing, beautiful, and just the right amount of bougie.

We wrapped up with a final dinner under the stars, looking out over the skyline, already planning our next trip back.
